Every Sunday we feel so overwhelmingly blessed to be opening the Scriptures in worship with you. Thank you so much for being a part of that! In an effort to welcome you in a more substantial way, we want to invite you to our little get-together: Upon This Rock: Christ, His Church and I!—two consecutive Wednesday evenings in which we can get to know each other, examine the vision, purpose and beliefs of Christ’s Church and explore how you can be a part of its ministry. Do you think that’s important? We do too! So often people join up with a church not knowing at all what it really believes. And there are plenty of dubious “churches” out there! We've also known some who, sadly enough, have attended their church for years without ever being invited to serve or be part of its ministry. So if, perhaps, you’ve been asking yourself: Is this the church I want to belong to? What does this church really believe? Will I fit in? Will I be needed? What does it mean to be part of Christ’s church?—well, we think you’ll enjoy our two evenings together, and we think you’ll be very encouraged by some of the answers to those questions. A complimentary dinner and dessert will be provided each night. There will be childcare. The date is fast approaching! We would love for you to attend.
